My Husband and I are first time parents to an inquisitive fun loving girl and a rambunctious little puppy. Parenting, is a thrilling joyride that we are blessed to be on. Our little family enjoys spending time outdoors, whether, walking around our neighborhood just before a storm or taking a leisurely stroll around our metro parks. Getting fresh air and sunlight is second to none.

As a young child, I enjoyed being transported to fictitional times and places through Reading Rainbow. As I grew older I transitioned from oral story telling, to written literature and now to visual media. When I am not shooting weddings, you can still find me behind my camera shooting short films. My "shorts" have been played at the Gateway Theater for 48hr Film Festival, and Studio 35 for 3 Weeks of Terror. It's an incredible rush watching your film on the big screen and hearing the reactions of the audience. ​

One last thing, for all of you who are wondering where the name Melchy comes from. It's a combination of my parents names and just so happens to be in the bible (Genesis 14:18). Melchizedek is mentioned several other times in the bible and means King of Righteousness  but since I'm a girl, I like to think Queen.
